Reymundo Flores-García, de solo 43 años, falleció el 23 de julio de 2026 en su residencia de Hutchinson. Nacido el 25 de marzo de 1983 en Chihuahua, México, hijo de Rosalio “Chalio” y Guadalupe “Lupe” (García) Flores.
Tras graduarse de la escuela secundaria Sierra Grande en Blanca, Colorado, Reymundo desempeñó diversos oficios a lo largo de su vida. Al momento de su fallecimiento, el trabajaba en el Departamento de Saneamiento de Fortex, en Tyson Foods, Inc., donde cumplía con sus responsabilidades con diligencia y dedicación. Algo que su padre le inculcó, el tener buena ética de trabajo desde temprana edad.
Reymundo sentía un profundo aprecio por la naturaleza y encontraba felicidad al aire libre, ya fuera cultivando su jardín, pescando o haciendo senderismo en las montañas junto a su padre; momentos que se convirtieron en algunos de sus recuerdos más preciados de su vida. También disfrutaba de sus viajes a México para pasar tiempo con la familia y gozar de la vida lejos de las exigencias cotidianas.
A Reymundo le sobreviven: su hija, Reyna Flores, de Joplin, Missouri; su madre, Lupe Flores, de Hutchinson, Kansas; sus hermanos, Rosalio (Vanessa) Flores y Luis (Brook Klassen), ambos de Hutchinson, Kansas; sus sobrinos Octavian, Lillian, Nicolas, Leo y Milo; su abuelo, Regino García, de Chihuahua, México; así como numerosos tíos, primos y otros familiares.
Le precedieron en la muerte: su padre, Rosalio “Chalio” Flores-Rubio, y su hermana, Raquel Flores.
El rosario parroquial se rezará a las 10:00 a.m., seguido por la Misa Funebre a las 10:30 a.m. el jueves 30 de julio de 2026; ambos, se llevarán a cabo, en la iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe ubicada en 612 S. Maple St., South Hutchinson. El sepelio se realizará posteriormente en el panteon Buhler Municipal East (14842 E. 82nd Ave, Buhler). Amigos y familiares podrán firmar el libro de condolencias el lunes y martes de 9:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m., y el miércoles 29 de julio de 2026 de 2:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m., momento en el que la familia estará presente para recibir a las visitas en la funeraria Elliott Mortuary.
En lugar de flores, se sugiere realizar donaciones al *Reymundo Flores-Garcia Memorial Fund* en beneficio de su hija, Reyna. Estas pueden enviarse a través de Elliott Mortuary (1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501); por favor, extienda cualquier cheque a nombre de Elliott Mortuary.

Reymundo Flores- Garcia, 43, died July 23, 2026, at his residence in Hutchinson. He was born March 25, 1983, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Rosalio “Chalio” and Guadalupe “Lupe” (Garcia) Flores.
After graduating from Sierra Grande High School in Blanca, Colorado, Reymundo worked in a variety of occupations throughout his life. At the time of his passing, he was employed in the Sanitation Department for Fortex at Tyson Foods, Inc., where he carried out his responsibilities with diligence and dedication. His strong work ethic was instilled in him by his father at a young age.
Reymundo had a deep appreciation for nature and found happiness in the outdoors, whether he was gardening, fishing, or hiking in the mountains with his father- moments that became some of his most treasured memories. He also enjoyed his trips to Mexico to spend time with family and enjoy life away from the demands of everyday life.
Reymundo is survived by: his daughter, Reyna Flores of Joplin, MO; mother, Lupe Flores of Hutchinson, KS; brothers, Rosalio (Vanessa) Flores and Luis (Brook Klassen) both of Hutchinson, KS; nieces and nephews, Octavian, Lillian, Nicolas, Leo and Milo; grandfather, Regino Garcia of Chihuahua, MX; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Rosalio “Chalio” Flores- Rubio and sister, Raquel Flores.
Parish rosary will be at 10 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, both at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 612 S. Maple St., South Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Buhler Municipal East 14842 E. 82nd Ave, Buhler. Friends may sign his memorial book from 9 am to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2026 with family present to receive friends at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Reymundo Flores- Garcia Memorial Fund, for the benefit of his daughter, Reyna. In care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501. To benefit the memorial fund, please make checks payable to Elliott Mortuary.
Due to remodeling at the church, the on-site restrooms are temporarily out of service. However, restrooms are available for use at Madonna Hall.
