Rhonda Lynn Armer, 57, died Aug. 8, 2016, at Diversicare of Hutchinson. She was born July 30, 1959, in Hutchinson, to William Thomas and Cecilia Arlene (Mendenhall) Richey Sr.

Rhonda graduated from Fairfield High School in 1977 and attended Salt City Business College. She was a certified nurse aid for long-term care facilities in Hutchinson and South Hutchinson. Rhonda enjoyed being a caregiver to the many individuals she took care of over the years. She also enjoyed collecting angels. Her true love, though, was her three sons. Rhonda's world revolved around her boys. When she was not at work, she was with her sons.

Survivors include: sons, Mitchell and Aaron Hargrave of Hutchinson, Wesley Armer of Michigan; siblings, Suzanne Sims and husband Greig, Lanette Richey, William Richey,Jr. and wife Becky, all of Hutchinson; mother, Cecilia "Arlene" Richey of Hutchinson; nephews, Allan and Nicholas Sims, Noah Richey; niece, Sarah Vieyra and husband Travis; and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her father.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson, with Jimie-Wray Mead officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson.
