Richard G. Tinder's Obituary
Richard Tinder, 73, died June 18, 2011, at his home.
He was born June 25, 1937, in Danville, Illinois, to William G. and Naomi F. Kiger Tinder.
Richard was a carpet layer for 46 years for Dick's Flooring Service.
On Oct. 18, 1969, he married Patricia Wenner in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Rebecca Cukjati and husband John, Hutchinson; a son, Timothy Tinder and wife Jessica, Hutchinson; five grandchildren; and sisters, Helen, Doris and Lois.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Public visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. A private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hutchinson Public Library or the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary.
