HUTCHINSON - Richard Wayne Walden, 56, died Aug. 14, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan.7, 1954, at Hutchinson, to Donald David and Amy Marie McQuiston Walden.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a former welding inspector at Mega Manufacturing.
He married Georgia Kay Smith on Jan. 28, 1972. She survives.
Other survivors include: sons, Wayne and wife Brenda, John and wife Shalisha, both of Hutchinson; daughter, Pamela Klug and husband Shane of Hutchinson; brothers, Eddie and wife Debbie, Albert and wife Linda, James, and Billy and wife Roberta, all of Hutchinson; sister, Lela Marlow of Hutchinson; 11 grandchildren, Tyler, Bret, Amy, Shawn and Landyn Walden, Katelyn and Zachary Klug, Dominick, Megan and Zachary Hutchinson, and Sage Pina. He was preceded in death by his brother Donald.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday Aug. 19, 2010, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Curtis Coombs officiating. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, with family present 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
