Rickie D. Redeker, 74, died March 31, 2024, at his residence in Hutchinson, KS. He was born October 11, 1949, in Red Cloud, NE, to Arnulf C. and Mabel E. (Rickard) Redeker.

Rickie graduated from Red Cloud High School in 1968, and attended Hastings College, Hastings, NE. He served in the United States Navy and the United States Army for four years each, totaling in eight years of service. He worked as a road and bridge surveyor for the City of Lincoln. He enjoyed reading, attending church, and collecting knives and guns.

Rickie attended CrossPoint Church in Hutchinson, KS, and Red Cloud Assembly of God Church, Red Cloud, NE.

Rickie is survived by: brothers, Greg (Charlene) Redeker of Mesa, AZ, Rod (Donnajean) Redeker of Youngstown, OH; sisters, Zona (Ray) Hines of Lindsborg, KS, Diana Bumgardner and Shellie Cornwall both of Lincoln, NE; sister in-laws, Donna Redeker of Fort Worth, TX, Joyce Redeker of Omaha, NE; brother in-law, Fred Tuengal of Phoeniz, AZ; nieces and nephews, Shane Hines, Shawndel Buckner, Chancy Cornwall, Josh Cornwall, Geoffrey Redeker, Ashley Landers, Landon Redeker, and Amy Davies.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Ronnie Redeker, Rollie Redeker, Richie Redeker, Craig Redecker; and a sister, Trudie Tuengal.

Graveside service will take place at a later date in Red Cloud Cemetery, Red Cloud, NE. Cremation has taken place.
