Ricky Lee Scott, 38, passed away April 15, 2006. Born March 8, 1968, he is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cathie and Dean Showalter and father and stepmother, Johnny and Diana Scott, all of Hutchinson.

He was a 1986 graduate of Hutchinson High School. He was employed by Mid-America Redi-Mix as a truck driver.

He is survived by a precious daughter, Kaylee Scott of Hutchinson. Other survivors include: a sister, Laurie and husband, Kevin Castor; a stepsister, Kim and husband, Bob Bruce, all of Hutchinson; a stepbrother, Scott and wife, Delisa Showalter of Clearwater; Grandparents are Irene Cole, Fran and Floyd Yoder, all of Hutchinson, KY and Velma Cole of Bartelsville, Okla., and Joanna Scott of Coffeyville, Ks. Preceded in death by a grandfather, Ellis Scott of Lenopah, Okla. Also survived by nieces, Sierra Castor and Destiny Bruce of Hutchinson and Ashlynn and Cortney Showalter of Clearwater, Ks.

Ricky was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved the outdoors.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Elliott Chapel, with Chaplain Willard Stafford presiding. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
