Ricky B. Switzer, 51, died August 28, 2019, at Ascension Via-Christi St. Francis. He was born November 29, 1967, in Sterling, to Larry and Virginia (Seitz) Switzer.

Ricky graduated from Nickerson High School in 1987 and from Salina Vo-Tech College in the HVAC and Auto Body programs.  He was a self-employed HVAC electrician. Ricky attended Maranatha Mennonite Church.  He enjoyed rodeoing and encouraging family, friends, and neighbors to connect with each other.

On June 6, 2011, he married Sarah Wilson in Hutchinson.

Ricky is survived by:  wife, Sarah; sons, Grady, Matt, and Chase; daughter, Sara (Jeff); grandchildren, River and Finnley; sisters, Elizabeth Skellenger (Bill), Trina Combs (Denny); and nephews, Jason and Luke.

He was preceded in death by:  a son, Gage, and his parents, Larry and Virginia.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Maranatha Mennonite Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Paul Nisly officiating.  Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at Elliott Mortuary.
