Rita G. Aleman's Obituary
Rita G. Aleman, 101, died Feb. 22, 2006, at her home, Hutchinson.
She was born May 22, 1904, in Zacatecas, Mexico, the daughter of Luis and Leocaria Rivas Garcia. She attended Hutchinson Public Schools. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.
On March 15, 1919, she married Arcidio Aleman in Hutchinson. He died Nov. 4, 1974.
Survivors include: four sons, Luis, South Hutchinson, and John, Robert and Richard, all of Hutchinson; four daughters, Mary Blea, Betty Aleman and Rosie Vargas, all of Hutchinson, and Jennie Enciso, Saginaw, Mich.; a brother, Luis Garcia, Running Springs, Calif.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles; and a daughter, Lola Torrez.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Father Ned J. Blick presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, both at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
