Rita Faye Chestnut, 48, died Aug. 1, 2015, at the Edwards County Hospital, Kinsley. She was born Dec. 24, 1966, in Phillipsburg, the daughter of Glen E. and Donna Irene (Morgan) Chestnut.

Rita married Steven L. Faulkner on Oct. 25, 1998, in Hutchinson. He died May 5, 2008. She is survived by: her daughter, Deidre Chestnut, and her brother, Rick Chestnut, both of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Steve; and a brother, Steven Leroy Chestnut.

Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Anthony Cogan officiating. Cremation will take place and friends may sign the book at Elliott Mortuary
