Robbie Gaynell Miller, 95, of Paradise Valley, AZ, died June 17, 2022, at Sun Quest Manor, Paradise Valley, AZ. She was born November 9, 1926,  in Decatur, MS, the daughter of Clyde and Onnie Majure. Robbie was the 9 ^th of 13 children.

Robbie was a lifetime resident of Hutchinson, where she was a school teacher, librarian, and remedial reading specialist for 17 years. She retired to Fountain Hills, AZ, where she lived for 11 years. Robbie was a member of  First Baptist Church, Hutchinson, for 60 years, and was a current  member of North Chapel, Fountain Hills, AZ.

On May 10, 1946, she married Christy C. Miller in Decatur, MS.  He died April 30, 2009, after they shared almost 63 years of marriage.

Robbie is survived by: son, Freeman Lance Miller of Mission Hills; daughter, Brenda Gay Shaffer (Ron) of Fountain Hills, AZ; four grandchildren, Stephanie Shaffer Dieterich and Chris Shaffer and their families of Phoenix, AZ, and Emily Miller Hutsell and Jacob Miller and their families of  Kansas City; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joy Wilson McCool and Vicki Souder.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter-in-law, Barbara Allphin Miller, MD; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.  Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
