Robert Matthew Allbright, 79, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, died July 4, 2021, at Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Florida. He was born April 24, 1942, in Seattle, Washington to Richard and Gladys (Ellingwood) Allbright.
Robert graduated high school in Omaha Nebraska and went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. In 1962 he joined the United States Army and served for three years. Robert was retired from his job as a service technician for IKON Business Equipment. He loved fishing and he loved animals, especially his dogs.
Robert is survived by: sons, Rick Allbright (Amy), Arlington, Jeff Allbright (Kim), Arlington, and Tim Allbright, Emporia; daughter, Susie Allbright, Hutchinson; grandchildren, Amber, Dylan, James, Hannah, Eric, Jordan, Teak, Mike, Koryn, D'Lani, and David; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Burham, Murdock, Nebraska; friend, Janice, Florida; and his children's mother, Linda Utiger, Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Marie and grandchildren, Christina and Wayne.
Family graveside service will at Arlington Cemetery, with Pastor Matt Stafford officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Fort Riley Honor Guard. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
