Robert J. "Bob" Hendricks, 92, of Hutchinson, died December 5, 2024, at Hester Care Center, Hutchinson. He was born May 25, 1932, in Lenora, to Oscar L. and Vesta O. (Sorrels) Hendricks.

Bob graduated from Minneapolis High School in 1950. He served in the United States Navy, as a Machinist's Mate, for three years. Bob worked as an insurance adjustor for American States Insurance, Davenport, IA, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed researching his family's genealogy, and round and squaring dancing with his wife, Marita.

On November 27, 1952, he married Marita J. Hawkins, in Delphos. They shared over 60 years of marriage, prior to her death on December 29, 2012.

Bob is survived by: sons, Robert "Bob" Hendricks Jr. of El Dorado, John (Jeryl) Hendricks of Hutchinson and Troy (Lee Ann) Hendricks of Wichita; six grandchildren; and ten great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Marita; daughter, Janie Hendricks; and sister, Gwen Fobes.

Cremation has taken place. No services will be held at this time.
