Robert Lee 'Bob' Huffman, formerly of Wichita, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. He was born October 20, 1923, in Hutchinson, the son of Mary Miller Huffman. Bob served in the United States Army from 1943 to 1945 and received the EAME Theater Ribbon and two Bronze Stars. He worked as a supervisor for Vickers and Hudson Oil Companies in Wichita until his retirement. Bob was a member of Hutchinson Reno AF & AM Lodge #124 and the Reno County Shrine Club.
On July 3, 1939, he married Viola Mae Banks. She died March 25, 2015. They shared 75 years of marriage.
Bob is survived by: daughters, Sonja Pirisky and husband Jack of Henderson, Nevada, and Rachel Hornbeck and husband Wayne of Hutchinson; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; six brothers; and three sisters.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
