Robert E. "Bob" Love, 82, died Monday, August 25, 2014. He was born June 18, 1932 in Hutchinson, the son of Edgar Clyde and Etta Hannah Ringer Love.

He was a 1950 graduate of Partridge High School and a graduate of Hutchinson Community College, a member of Partridge Community Church, served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve, had served on the Center Township Board for many years. Bob was a farmer in the Partridge Community.

On November 19, 1957 he married Mary I. Buckley in Partridge. She survives. He is also survived by; three sons and their spouses, Jim and Claudia, Dale and Kelly all of Partridge, Dennis and Lisa of Byers, Texas, a brother, Don and Helen of St. Francis, 11 grandchildren, Brandon and Rebecca Pinkston, Cara Ellis, Jenny Love, Megan Love, Katie Love, Bryan and Ashley Love, Tara and Craig Tidmore, Taylor Love, Denny Love, Slade Love and 10 great grandchildren, Kailey Broce, Cahrin Pinkston, Kelsie Pinkston, Maggie Ellis, Dacie Ellis, Annia Love, John Murphy, Kimberly Murphy, Gage Welch and Kenna Tidmore. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and his wife Richard and Helen and a grandson, Joshua Love.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 at First Church of the Nazarene, 4290 N. Monroe, Hutchinson with Pastor Doug Wyatt presiding. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. His register book will be available 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the American Red Cross or Partridge Public Library in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
