Robert Henry “Bob” May, 69, died July 26, 2026, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born August 31, 1956, in Topeka, to Dorus H. and Harriette Rose (Coon) May.

Bob worked from the mid-1970’s to the early 2000’s at Eaton as a lead painter. He then went to work at Pella Windows, retiring in 2010. Bob enjoyed fishing, travelling, and riding his Harley-Davidson.

Bob is survived by one sister and stepchildren, Summer Hanson of Pratt, April Smalling and John Smalling Jr., both from Hutchinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, is assisting the family.
