Robert C. Bunting, 78, died March 15, 2022. He was married to Hutchinson's own Marsha Young, class of 1963.  He graduated Lyons High School in 1961, attended KU, WSU, graduating with a degree in electrical engineering. Robert began his career at Cessna, before retiring from Learjet as the Director of Learjet Flight Test Center, after 37 years of service.  Bob loved his job and fellow employees, and was a major supporter of WSU basketball.

Robert is survived by:  his wife of 24 years, Marsha; sons, Rob (Sharon) and Eric (Mary); sister, Barbara; 7 grandchildren; 3 stepchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents; brother, Larry; and daughter, Tawnya Flowers.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.  Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, with the family present to greet friends Thursday from 5-7 at Elliott Mortuary.
