Robert Andrew Juarez, 60, passed away on May 26, 2026, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was born on February 3, 1966, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Richard Rodriguez “Rick” and Lucille M. (Martinez) Juarez.
Robert graduated from Hutchinson High School and dedicated many years of hard work to his community and family. He worked at APAC Shears for 26 years and then spent the past 14 years with Reno County Public Works, where he continued working until December due to his health. In addition, Robert worked part-time as a custodian at Hutchinson Community College. No matter where he worked or what task was before him, Robert took pride in doing every job well, whether large or small.
Robert was a simple man with a big heart. He enjoyed watching movies with his family and keeping up with the weather, but above all else, his greatest joy in life was his family. He was a proud and devoted father and grandfather who loved his children and grandchildren unconditionally. His family meant everything to him, and the love he gave them will be cherished forever.
Robert is survived by his children: Christina Sanchez and her son, Parker Hook, of Wichita; Brittany Sanchez-Flores (Juan) and their children, Liliana, Daniela, Viviana, Abraham, and Alexander, of Carrollton, Texas; Robert Juarez, Jr. of Omaha, Nebraska; Gabriella Barragan (Brian) and their son, Brody, of Centennial, Colorado; and Elizabeth Henderson (Bradlee) of Hutchinson.
He is also survived by his siblings: Angela Cain and Marc Cain and their children, Marc Cain II and Jennifer Cain; J. Martin Garcia (Denise); Carmelo Martinez (Hortencia); Margarita Espinoza (Alberto); Otilia Martinez; and Julian Juarez (Laura); his stepmother, Maria Elena Juarez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Henrietta Juarez.
