Robert Lee "Bob" Wall, 87, died Aug. 20, 2014, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born March 30, 1927, in Hutchinson, to Lloyd R. and Bessie E. (Curry) Wall.

He was a 1947 graduate of Hutchinson High School and enlisted in the United States Navy. He retired from Cessna Fluid Power Division, Hutchinson. Bob attended Westside Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Legion Lysle Rishel Post #68 and was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose #982.

On April 25, 1964, he married Vivian Irene Betts in Hutchinson. She died March 29, 2010. Survivors include: son, Rick Wall and wife Debra of Hutchinson; daughter, Pam Jakoplic of Burrton, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Lee Wall; and a brother.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Eldon Smith presiding. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with military honors conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday through Monday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
