Robert Nelson "Rabbit" Cunday, 62, died Jan. 14, 2014, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Feb. 13, 1951, in Hutchinson, to Clive Nelson and Merla LaVern Gregg Cunday.

Robert graduated from Nickerson High School in 1969. He had served in the National Guard and was a member of First Christian Church of Nickerson. He was owner and operator of Cunday Haying Service.

Survivors include: his mother, Merla Cunday of South Hutchinson; sister, Grace Clark and husband Richard of Bella Vista, Ark.; three nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Lynda.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Friday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary. A private family inurnment will be at a later date.
