Robert Dean "Bob" Richardson, 76, died Feb. 27, 2008, at Hutchinson.

He was born March 2, 1931, in Big Rapids, Mich., the son of Harold and Wilma Tharp Richardson. He was a 1949 graduate of Jackson High School, Jackson, Mich. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, he retired in 1987 from R.L. Polk Publishing.

He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge No. 50, Jackson, Mich., and was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Bob Campbell Post No. 1361. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving during the Korean War.

In December of 1950, he married Mary J. Corts in Leslie, Mich. She died June 8, 2001.

Survivors include: a son, Dean, Partridge; two daughters, Joann Englehardt and Ellen Kay, both of Hutchinson; two sisters, Iola Hayden, Statesville, N.C., and Bonnie Orvis, Bay City, Mich.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William; and a sister, Willa Jean.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. R. Samuel Askew presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary. Cremation has taken place. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard.
