Obituary

Robert L. Singer, 75, passed away December 29, 2014, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born March 24, 1939, to Kenneth and Peggy (Hamilton) Singer in Wichita. Robert graduated from Medicine Lodge High School at which time he received the Barber County Soil Conservation Award. He retired after 37 years from Consolidated Rebuilders as a Master Machinist. Robert loved his family very much and was proud of his daughter and grandson. He was an avid fisherman that loved to go on trips to the lake with his friends. He attended Pratt Community College and served in the Army Reserve and National Guard.

He is survived by: daughter, Jennifer (Mark Knopf) Singer of St. Thomas VI; grandson, Parker Knopf of St. Thomas, VI; mother, Peggy Singer of Pratt, KS; sister, Shannon Singer of Watauga, TX.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Singer.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m., Monday, at the Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge. Friends may call from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015, and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015, with the family present from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to American Lung Association in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, 67501.
