Robert H. Stelter, 92, died May 20, 2013, at Dillon Living Center, Hutchinson. He was born Dec. 5, 1920, the son of Carl W. and Pauline E. Dirks Stelter.

Robert worked for Cessna for 27 1/2 years and also farmed for 50 years.

He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2550.

On Jan. 7, 1957, he married Rose Clara Berscheid in Lawrence. She died May 12, 2007.

Survivors include: a daughter, Joann Drummond and husband Bill of Hutchinson; three grandsons, Bill M. Franklin and wife Kristin of Buhler, Matt Franklin and wife Ashley of Sterling, Anthony Franklin of Silverthorne, Colo.; step-granddaughter, Alaina Brenner and husband Travas of Silverthorne, Colo.; brother, Carl Stelter of Haven; sister, Ernestine Keller of Wichita; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose; son-in-law, Bill E. Franklin; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Parish rosary will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m., celebrated by Father Ned J. Blick. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Valley Township Cemetery, Haven. Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
