Rodney D. Davis' Obituary
Rodney D. Davis, 48, died Dec. 5, 2007, at his home in Hutchinson.
He was born Dec. 29, 1958, in Hutchinson, the son of Harold O. and June H. Eaton Davis. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, he was a 17-year employee holding various positions including lift technician with Collins Bus Industries.
He was an avid fisherman and water sportsman.
Survivors include: a daughter, Brooke Nichole Davis, Hutchinson; four brothers, Dean A., Kingman, Ralph E., Evans, Wash., James R., Hutchinson, and Will, Verdi, Nev.; four sisters, Rosetta M. Walz, McKinney, Texas, Ellen L. Beachy, Hutchinson, Donatti F. Meyer, Haven, and Rebecca S. Lynch, Apopka, Fla.; 23 nephews and nieces; and 31 great-nephews and great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Kim Biery presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Cremation will follow the chapel service.
Memorials may be sent to the Brooke N. Davis Scholarship Fund in care of the mortuary.
