Ronald "Ron" Edgar Touzel, 77, of Hutchinson, passed away September 27, 2024, at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born March 3, 1947, to Henry Marshall and Marian Louise Kreuger Touzel in Detroit, Michigan.
Ron graduated from Campus High School. He worked as a General Foreman for many seismic oil crews, but was a jack of all trades. He thoroughly enjoyed tinkering with everything. Ron would fix whatever needed to be fixed; and was most happy when he was fixing things for others. He enjoyed woodworking and anything dealing with mechanics. He was a Houston Astros fan and loved watching all their games with his wife.
Ron married Bernetta "Netta" Stella Kerschen September 9, 1972, in Pratt, KS. They celebrated 52 years of marriage.
Ron is survived by: his wife; daughter, Leah (Chad) Henderson; son, Chris Touzel; grandchildren, Peyton Touzel, Jade, Evan and Ajae Henderson, Tanner Chiplis; great-grandson, Clayton Henderson; and several other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Parish Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m., October 2, 2024, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. both at Church of the Holy Cross, 2613 Independence St., Hutchinson, KS, 67501. Inurnment will be immediately following the Mass at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may sign the book until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ron Touzel Memorial fund in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS, 67501.
