Ronald 'Ron' Reid Warford, passed away August 12, 2022, at McPherson Health and Rehab, McPherson, KS.  He was born December 10, 1937, in Tahlequah, OK, to Lauren Reid and Jessie (Hicks) Warford.

Ron served in the United States Army.  He was employed as a tool grinder at Eaton Corporation, formerly Cessna Power Fluid Division, retiring with over 28 years of service.

On November 5, 1965, Ron married Edweena Eileen Keller, in Pratt, KS.  Ron and Edweena were married by her uncle at her sister's home.  They shared over 56 years of marriage.

He is survived by:  his wife, Edweena Warford of Hutchinson, KS; grandchildren, Brianna (Jason) Kraus of Newton, KS, Josh (Lindsey) Homewood of Halstead, KS, Miranda Homewood of Halstead, KS, and Amanda Hahn of Halstead, KS; great-grandchilden, Dalton Kraus, Kaden Kraus, Waylon Homewood, Wyatt Hahn, Kingston Heck, Landrey Homewood, Maverick Heck, Adelynn Hahn, Allister Brock, and Kindrick Homewood; brother, Danny (Cathy) Warford of Topeka, KS; and close friends, Loring and Maricel Meyers and their children Ashlee, Aiden, and Anaia.

Ron was preceded in death by:  his parents; son, Brian Warford; daughter-in-law, Kathy Warford; and sisters, Myrna Tee, Ora Kay Kile, and Pamela Roach.

No services are planned at this time.  Burial will be scheduled at a future date in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Sun City, KS.
