Ronald Edward West's Obituary
Ronald Edward "Ron" West, 47, died Feb. 6, 2006, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born Jan. 7, 1959, in Hutchinson, the son of Craymon H. and Jennie Marie Raner West. He graduated in 1977, from Hutchinson High School. He worked at Carey Salt Company and Jackson Ice Cream.
He belonged to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, and was a former member of the United Steel Workers of America and Teamsters Local No. 795.
Survivors include: a son, Travis, Hutchinson; a daughter, Hope West, Hutchinson; their mother, Rebecca, Hutchinson; his mother, Jennie, Hutchinson; four brothers, Jim, Winfield, and Lloyd, Nolan and Mike, all of Hutchinson; two sisters, Glenda West, Hesston, and Lora Pisar, Hutchinson; and a grandson, Rylan West.
He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, John; and a sister Saundra Reeder.
Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Father Ned Blick presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County, in care of the funeral home.
