Obituary

Rosalie Revel Brown Danks went to be with her heavenly Father on July 19, 2014. She was born May 11, 1934, in Lyons, Kan., the daughter of Wilbur and June Maxine Tucker Revel.

She was a Christian.
She graduated from Lyons High School in 1952. Married Ray D. Brown, July 4, 1952 in Lyons, Kan., and later divorced. On April 8, 1992, she married David C. Danks, in Las Vegas, Nev. He passed away March 20, 1999.

Member of Golfette Bowling League, Traveling Bowling League, Red Hat Society, Carey Park Golf Association, American Legion Women's Auxiliary Unit #68, Women of the Moose #1371, Hutchinson Hospital Auxiliary, and the YMCA of Hutchinson.
Volunteered for RSVP, Hutchinson Hospital, Salvation Army, and the American Red Cross Blood Drive.

Survivors: daughter, Linda Brown of McPherson; son, Michael Brown of Honolulu, Hawaii; stepdaughters, Patricia Buxton and husband Gene of Hutchinson, Delores Drazkowski and husband Frank of Hutchinson; step-sons, David F. Danks and wife Becky of Rogers, Ark., Richard Danks of Mukilteo, Wash.; one grandson, several step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, Robert G. Revel, and sister, Joan Ramella.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Elliott Chapel, for a Celebration of Rosalie's Life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to YMCA Silver Sneakers, as this was where she had so many great friends that got together and had coffee and cured the problems of the world with a lot of laughs, then went to exercise class.
