Rosalie M. Tucker, 85, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013. She was born in Herington April 7, 1927, the daughter of Ewaldt and Lizzie Schlesener Kickhaefer.

She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, a church youth sponsor for their work projects and an avid bowler belonging to several different leagues. Rosalie had been an Avon lady and owned and operated Rosalie's Salon for over 45 years.

On Jan. 30, 1965, she married Darrel Eugene Tucker at Herington. He survives. Other survivors include: four daughters and their husbands, Becky and Mike Wallace, Marjorie and Terry Kite, Phyllis and Steve Griffin, all of Hutchinson, Christina and LeRoy Toms of Arlington; five brothers; three sisters; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, with Reverend Chad Trunkhill officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson. Memorial gifts may be made to the Rosalie M.
