Obituary

Rose Marie Hale, 82, died Sept. 18, 2006 at Hutchinson Hospital.

She was born Sept. 25, 1923, in Hutchinson the daughter of Clarence Morgan and Nellie Ora Miller Rayl. She was a 1942 graduate of Hutchinson High School. A liftime resident of Hutchinson she was a retired head processor for Hutchinso Public Library,

She belonged To Zion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson.

On Feb. 18, 1949 she married Norman VanLee Hale in Hutchinson. He died Sept. 15, 1963.

Survivors include: a son, Larry, Albuquerque, NM; a daughter, Norma Bricker, Wichita; a brother, Floyd Rayl, Hutchinson; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Earl, Walter, Clyde, Leo and Sidney Rayl; two sisters, Faye Sheppard and Cora Ackerman.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mennonite Manor Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Robert L. Albin presiding. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. A private family graveside service will be held in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be sent to Zion Lutheran Church or Mennonite Manor both in care of the mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
