Rose Marie Shelton, 63, of Hutchinson, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. She was born October 11, 1954, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Clifford and Carol (Weaver) Ediger.

Rose graduated from Hutchinson High School. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked at Don's Custom Floral, helped her husband, Jeff, at Shelton Motors, and taught aerobics at the YMCA. Rose was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ.

On October 11, 1990, she married Jeff Shelton in Hutchinson. He survives.  Other survivors include: sons, Lucas Bishop of Hutchinson, Justin Koeppen of Wichita; father, Clifford Ediger of Hutchinson; sister, Laura Ediger (Jack Mullen) of Hutchinson; brothers, Dennis Ediger (Rebecca) of Hutchinson, David Ediger of South Hutchinson; in-laws, Bob and Carolyn Shelton of Hutchinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her mother, Carol.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Westside Baptist Church, 400 W 12th Ave., Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Adrian officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family to receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, at Elliott Mortuary.
