Rosella Joy Jackson, 84, died Feb. 18, 2013, at Hospice House. She was born Aug. 19, 1928, in Meade to Ben and Justina (Fast) Friesen.
A member of the First Church of the Nazarene, she was a homemaker.
On Nov. 25, 1949, she married Howard Bill Jackson in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Michael Jackson and his wife Robin of Hutchinson; two daughters, Sherry Heim of Emporia and Janice Green and husband Jerry of Hutchinson; two brothers-in-law, Ben Witt and James Keever, both of Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Audrey Friesen of Hutchinson; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joni Joy Jackson Heim; an infant son, Mark Allen Jackson; five sisters; and a brother.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastors Bones Nay and Doug Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
