Rosetta Jane Burton, 91, of South Hutchinson, died May 24, 2024 at Hospice House.  She was born July 6, 1932, in Marion, Kansas, the daughter of Albert and Velma (Eason) Nienstedt.

Rosetta was a graduate of Chase County, Kansas, High School.  On October 6, 1951, Rosetta married Harry B. Burton in Yates Center, KS.  Harry died Dec. 3, 2015. Rosetta worked at the former Detroiter Mobile Home Manufacturing Co. and Good Samaritan Nursing Home.  She was a member at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: sons; Gerald (Tammi) of Hutchinson, Glen (Connie) of Sterling, Galen (Jennifer) of Hutchinson; brother Vernon (Kay) Nienstedt of Greenwell Springs, LA; step-sister, Eileen (John) Jenek of Emporia; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and beloved dog Buster.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
