Brent Gardner, 50, died January 11, 2014, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born November 25, 1963, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Roy L. and Jessie L. Riley Gardner.

He married Mary Griffin on April 24, 2010, in Hutchinson, KS. She survives along with their sons "Baby Braydon" and Matt.

Brent was a wonderful provider and father to his two boys and wife, always making sure all of their needs were met. He worked for XF Enterprises in Pratt, KS.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary; sons, Braydon Gardner of the home, and Matt Gardner, Hutchinson; brothers, Michael Gardner, Winnfield, LA, Jeffery Gardner (Tanya), Downsville, LA, Steven Gardner (Karen), Winnfield, LA, and Mitchell Gardner, Winnfield, LA; sisters, Vallori Sanders, Dodson, LA, and Karyn McDaniel, Dodson, LA; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, David Hutchinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Patricia Lynn Gardner.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at CrossPoint Church, Westbrook Campus, with Pastor Andy Addis presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
