Roy Donald Yutzy, 55, of Hutchinson, died March 16, 2022, at his home. He was born October 21, 1966, in Hutchinson, to Mahlon and Evelyn (Whitecotton) Yutzy.

Roy worked as a boiler room operator for several places in Hutchinson, including Hutchinson Hospital and Morton Salt. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Roy is survived by: son, Jeffrey Yutzy, Hutchinson; daughters, Erin Yutzy, Sugar Creek, Missouri, Shelby Yutzy, Hutchinson; grandsons, Anthony Crider, Alaska, Wesley Kramer, Sugar Creek, Missouri; brothers, William McVey, Jacksonville, North Carolina, Roger Yutzy (Debbie), Hutchinson; and sisters, Diana Strawn, Hutchinson, Barbara Hirst (John), Holyrood, Rhonda "Janie" Yutzy, Hutchinson.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; son, Erik Yutzy; grandparents; brothers, Jack Yutzy, Gary McVey; sister, Catherine Knight.

Cremation has taken place, there will be no services at this time. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, at Elliott Mortuary.
