Ruby L. Adamson's Obituary
Ruby L. Adamson, 25, died Aug. 30, 2006, at Golden Plains Care Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Feb. l, 1921 in Hutchinson, the daughter of Earnest and Winifred Barnes Reed Adamson. She graduated from Adela Hale Business College. A longtime Hutchinson resident, she worked for Fairmont Poultry Co. in Dodge City, Sherwin-Williams Paint Store and for 30 years was the bookkeeper at Kingsley Wagner Motor Supply Co., both in Hutchinson. She also helped care for some of her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include: two sisters, Harriet Withrow, Hutchinson and Alice Bates, Seneca; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, William Reed, Jess Reed, Ray Reed and Chester Reed; and two sisters, Mary Wells and Vica Rucker.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson with Chaplain Frederick J. Obold presiding. Friends amy sign the book from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County or to the American Diabetes Association in care of the mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson.
