Ruby Ann Colvert, 61, died July 15, 2008, at her home in Hutchinson.

She was born in 1946 in Freeman, S.D., to Charles and Linda Berstch Bell.

She was a resident of Hutchinson since coming from Arlington, Texas, in 1988. She attended schools and graduated high school in Cleghorn, Iowa. She was a dietary supervisor at Dillon Living Center, then at Wesley Towers.

On Dec. 18, 1965, she married Jerry A. Colvert in Minneapolis. He died Dec. 28, 2002.

Survivors include: sons, Anthony and wife Dalynn, Houston, Tyler and wife Camey, Hutchinson; daughters, Jennifer and husband Jamie Borders, Houston; her parents; sisters, Veronica Timmerman, Cherokee, Iowa, Lori Brown, Branson, Mo., Betty Lou Harrison, Ponchatoula, La.; and four grandchildren, Jenna Borders, Caprece Colvert, Ethan Colvert, Jordan Borders.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Eldon Smith officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the mortuary; with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Ruby A. Colvert Memorial Fund in care of the mortuary.
