Ruby I. Durbin's Obituary
Ruby I. Durbin, 87, died Feb. 26, 2012, at Thorne Care Center, Wesley Towers, Hutchinson.
She was born Feb. 21, 1925, in Pendennis, Kansas, the daughter of John L. and Ella Mae (Carey) Current.
Ruby was a homemaker and had also worked at Ark Valley Egg Plant and Carey Salt.
She married Ephie Everett Durbin. He died April 13, 1978.
She is survived by: three children, Don Durbin of Hutchinson, Gayle Durbin and Darrel Durbin, both of South Hutchinson; a brother, Raymond Current of Hutchinson; five grandchildren, including, Lynette and Gralynn Durbin and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers, George, Omer, Leslie, and Virgil Current; and a sister, Sylvia Floyd.
A private family service will take place at Eastside Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
