Ruby E. Lovald's Obituary
Ruby E. Kerwood Lovald, 93, died Aug. 5, 2006, at Infinia in Hutchinson.
She was born Nov. 15, 1912 in rural Manchester, Okla., the daughter of Alexander Riley and Ella Huston Kerwood. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1933 and was a Hutchinson resident since 1925. She was a window decorator for Woolworth's Department Store.
She belonged to the First Baptist Church, Nickerson.
In 1946 she married Ernest Lovald in Hutchinson. He died in 1985.
Survivors include: a brother-in-law, Harold Wall; a sister-in-law, Opal Kerwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Leroy Williams; four brothers, Charles, Harold, Lloyd and Harry; and two sisters, Hazel Wall and Fannie Hoskinson.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Larry Wedel presiding. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of the funeral home, Hutchinson.
