Ruby Arlene Parks, 92, of South Hutchinson, went to be with her heavenly Father on November 19, 2020.  She was born May 30, 1928, in Hutchinson, to Leroy Walter and Viola Mae (Clune) Newburn.

On September 25, 1948, Ruby married Stanley Earl Parks, in Hutchinson.  They shared over 54 years of marriage, prior to his death on February 4, 2003.

She is survived by:  daughters, Mary Roberts of Burden, Sharon Pugh of Hutchinson, Vicki Daines of Hutchinson, Linda (Gary) Gough of Abbyville, Susan (Ron) Hicks of Colby, Chris (Jack) Thompson of Park City, and Diane (Robert) Zimmerman of Hutchinson; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Ken Hauschild.

Ruby was preceded in death by:  her parents; husband, Stanley Parks; brothers, Lee Newburn and Don Newburn; sisters, Opal Kroeker, Ruth Parks, and Shirley Hauschild; grandsons, Brian Gough and Tracy Daines; and sons-in-law, Larry Pugh, Gary Roberts, and Chancey Yingling.

Private funeral service will be Monday, November 23, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Jim Holmes officiating.  Private graveside service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Chaplain Darren Johnson, MA,CLC officiating.  Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020, and from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020, with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
