Ruby Faye Ratley's Obituary
Ruby Faye Ratley, of Hutchinson, 87, died Aug. 9, 2016, at Brookdale of Hutchinson. She was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Pretty Prairie, to John Claude and Nellie Jane (White) Jones.
She attended Pretty Prairie High School and was a homemaker.
She married James G. Ratley on Sept. 14, 1944. He died Dec. 13, 1975. She later married Johnnie Marshall Ratley on April 9, 1976, in Garnett. He died May 25, 2004.
Survivors include: children, James Ratley and wife Patricia, Robert Ratley and wife Roben, both of Hutchinson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Carolyn Manwarren; son, Michael Ratley; and grandson, TJ Fitzgerald.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, in Sylvia Cemetery, Sylvia, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions may be made to Brookdale of Hutchinson Memory Care Unit-Lunch for Bunch Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
