Ruby I. Robison-Hoss, 95, formerly of Hutchinson, died March 14, 2008, in Trego County Hospital, Wakeeney, Ks.

She was born Oct. 11, 1912, in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, the daughter of John A. and Ora C. Mayes Guilliams. She graduated from Tecumseh, Oklahoma High School in 1930, and attended Salt City Business College for one year.

She had been a resident of Hutchinson. She had worked at the Hutchinson Clinic in the PBX office for 25 years and retired in 1991. She was previously a postmaster in Buckeye, N.M., worked as a sales clerk at Wiley's Department Store in Hutchinson. She also had worked at St. Rose Hospital in Great Bend.

She belonged to South Hutchinson United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star No. 226 at Great Bend, Rebekah Lodge No. 465 in Wakeeney, ABWA, Travel Club, Civic Center, Pitch and Bridge Clubs, Women of the Moose Hutchinson Chapter No. 1371, V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and AARP.

She married Carl Robison on December 24, 1932, in Clinton, Oklahoma. He died July 11, 1963. She later married Harold Hoss on Sept. 6, 1969, in South Hutchinson. He died December 8, 1993.

Survivors include: two sons, Dennis Robison, Marrietta, Ohio, and Dannis Robison and his wife Joy, St. Peter, Kansas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday March 18, 2008, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Great Bend Cemetery, Great Bend. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
