Russell Arthur Dube, 79, died February 5, 2015, at his home in Burrton. He was born May 30, 1935, to Joseph A. and Ann (Campagna) Dube in Lawrence, Mass. He attended high school in Lawrence, Mass., and went on to college attending the University of Omaha, University of Wyoming, Eastern Washington State and Wichita State University. He was in the United States Air Force, retiring May 1, 1975. He later retired from HCF. Russell was an avid golfer.
Survivors include: son, Russell Dube of Burrton; daughter, Jennifer Deaver of Kingsville, MO; grandchildren, Shawn Conrad, Grayson Conrad, and Alexandria Conrad, and Jack-Cooper Deaver, all of Missouri; and a great- granddaughter, Kaydence Foster. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Timothy Dube, and siblings, Jacklyn Walton, Joseph Dube, and Ronald Dube.
Parish rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., all at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Hutchinson, with Father Nicholas Voelker presiding. Burial will be in Burrton Cemetery with military honors conducted by McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
