Ruth Ann Sutton's Obituary
Ruth Ann Sutton, 52, died Dec. 15, 2011, at her home in Hutchinson. She was born March 8, 1959, in Hutchinson, to William and Etta Mae Lowrey Hubbard.
Ruth graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1977, and was owner and operator of The Back Porch. She also worked at Hanover Gas Measurement in Hutchinson, Beloit Post Office in Beloit and Jackson Ice Cream in Hutchinson.
Ruth is survived by: Tom Stankey of the home; son, Tyler Sutton of Beloit; step daughter, Ashley Zolman of Hutchinson; and brother, Jim Hubbard and wife Susan of Hutchinson; grandsons, Ian and Dimitri; loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Darryl Peterson officiating. Inurnment will be 1:30 p.m. in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday at Elliott Mortuary. Memorials may be made to Grace Christian Church or Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of the mortuary.
