Ruth A. Zimmerman's Obituary
Ruth A. Zimmerman, 94, died March 30, 2010 at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born June 25, 1915 in Kingman to Richard F. and Emma Marie Guetschow Hillman. She graduated from Kingman High School in 1933.
On April 27, 1935 she married Walter Ray Zimmerman at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wichita. He died March 4, 1983.
She moved to Hutchinson on Feb. 27, 1989 from Castleton, KS where she had lived for 54 years. She was a member of Castleton Union Church.
Survivors include two sons: Gary K, Hutchinson and Dean, Wichita; a sister Esther Schaffer, Albuquerque, NM; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Towers in care of Elliott Mortuary.
