Ruthail Sharp Hunt, 88, died June 14, 2010, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born Sept. 18, 1921, in Hutchinson, to Clyde Walker and Jessie Foster Sharp.
She was a lifetime Hutchinson resident. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1941. She was a homemaker and worked at Hutchinson Bag Company and the former Bond Bakery. She attended the South Hutchinson United Methodist Church.
On Feb. 14, 1943, she married Thomas L. Hunt. He died on Feb. 17, 2002.
Survivors include: daughters, Laura Southards and husband Fred, Hutchinson; two grandchildren, Heather and Skylar Southards; brothers, Claude Sharp and wife Valeeta, Granberry, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Rev. Tim Ault-Duell officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, in care of the mortuary.
