Ryan L. Jenkins, 36, died Jan. 22, 2009, in Sedgwick County. He was born Sept. 5, 1972, in Wichita, the son of Leslie R. and Anna M. Fisher Jenkins. He graduated from Wichita West High School in 1992.

A longtime resident of Wichita, moving to Hutchinson in 2008, he was an auto service technician at the Maize Wal-Mart Store.

He belonged to Faith Baptist Church, Hutchinson, and was a former member of the First Baptist Church, Maize.

On March 29, 2008, he married Jessica L. Parrott Goodwin in Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include: a son, Timothy Goodwin, of the home; daughters, Haley Jenkins, Wichita, and Marrissa Goodwin, of the home; his parents, Leslie and Ann, Haven; a brother, Randy, Wichita; sisters, Felecia Danielski, Grand Island, Neb., Diana Crowe, Tonya Watkins, and Rhonda Harmon, all of Wichita; grandfather, Preston Jenkins, Hutchinson; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tony and Jackie Parrott.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 28, 2009, at Faith Baptist Church, 529 East 56 Street, Hutchinson, with Pastor Mel Parrott presiding. A second memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Jan. 31, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, Maize, with Pastor Dale Kelley presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with the family present to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery.
