S. Janel Marshall, 77, passed away March 4, 2013. She was born August 28, 1935, to A.T. and Bernadean Moore in Corpus Christi, Texas. On June 3, 1954, she married Brent Marshall in Denver, Colorado. He survives.

Other survivors include: daughter, Sherri (Darrell) Riley of Hutchinson; and two sons, Regan (Crystal) Marshall, also of Hutchinson, and Michael (Angela) Marshall of Louisburg, Kansas; grandchildren, Maegan and her husband, Jake Hunninghake, of Yoder, Kansas; Betany Riley of Topeka, Kansas, Macy Marshall of Hutchinson, Kansas, Carly and her husband, Matt Batchelder, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Tracy Marshall, also of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jordan and his wife, Allison Marshall, of Dodge City, Kansas; Garrett Marshall of Edmond, Oklahoma; and 2 great-grandchildren,Corbin and Caeli Hunninghake of Yoder, Kansas.

Janel was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Judy Reed.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Eastwood Church of Christ, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-9 Wednesday with the family to receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Elliot Mortuary, Hutchinson.
