S. Darine Risley's Obituary
Susan Darline Risley, 86, died March 4, 2006, at Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson.
She was born April 11, 1919, in Arlington, the daughter of Willie O. and Susan Powell McCalla. A Hutchinson resident most of her life, she retired after serving as a nurse's aide at the Hutchinson Hospital for 30 years.
On Oct. 28, 1937, she married Willard Hewitt Risley. He died June 20, 1987.
Survivors include: seven nephews, Don, David and Kenneth Smith, Bob and Jerry McCalla, and Joel and Andrew Smith; and six nieces, Linda Kenney, Leona Adamson, Sharon Flemming, Connie Bickel, Florence Campbell and Dana Belote.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd and Gerald McCalla; and three sisters, Helner Kimball, Dorothy Pace and Florence Cooper.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Robert Albin presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, both at the mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to Good Samaritan Center, in care of the mortuary.
