Sally Joanne Taylor, 83, of Hutchinson, died Feb. 28, 2017, at Thorne Care Center, Wesley Towers, Hutchinson. She was born Jan. 5, 1934, in Wichita, the daughter of Walter Luther and Inez Frances (Cron) Albright. Sally graduated in 1951 from Wichita East High School, Wichita. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of P.E.O. Chapter CM, Dental Auxiliary and several bridge clubs. Sally volunteered for the Follies, American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, Birthright, taught smocking, made many banners for Trinity United Methodist Church and was a troop leader for Boy and Girl Scouts. Sally also participated with the Hutchinson Theatre Guild and Symphony Guild.

On Nov. 5, 1955, Sally married Owen Charles "Bud" Taylor in Augusta. He died Aug. 3, 2006.

Survivors include: children, Kate Williams of Rogers, Ark., O.C. "Todd" Taylor, Jr. and wife Donna of Woodville, Texas, and Paul Taylor of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Dennis Albright and wife Connie of Lakewood, Colo., Ted Albright and wife Joann of Towanda, Kan.; and companion, Gilbert Tatman of Wichita.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Wesley Towers Chapel with Pastor Martha Murchison presiding. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017, through Monday, March 13, 2017, at Elliott Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Council of Reno County, Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Towers or Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N.
