Sandra "Sandy" Lee Burgey Ratley, 65, died Friday, April 3, 2015. She was born July 25, 1949, in Glens Falls, N.Y., the first born of Daniel and Beverley (Clark) Burgey.

She moved with her family to San Bernardino, California.
She went to Highland Jr. High and San Gorgonino High School, where she met and married the love of her life, Robert Earl Ratley Sr. on June 30, 1967.

They moved to Kansas and raised their three children. Sandy was a homemaker, beautician, wonderful wife, loving mother, and a caring grandmother and great-grandmother.

Also surviving are: their children, Robert Jr., Jerry, Connie Lee "Cricket" (Brian) Casey, all of Hutchinson; 10 grandchildren, Leah, Laura and Alexis Ratley, Brooke and Cheyenne Ratley, Renee' (Ryan) Fenton, Brianna, Mikhayla, Kodie Ann and Brian Casey Jr.; great-grandson, Rylee Dean Fenton; her mother, of Stafford; mother-in-law, Ruby Faye Ratley; brother-in-law, James (Patricia) Ratley; six sisters and three brothers, Debbie (Gus) Liebl, Pam (Dave) Nafzinger, Duke (Tami) Burgey, Larry (Trisha) Burgey, all of Hutchinson, Cynthia (Gidget) Cooper of Wichita Falls, Texas, Judy (Kirby) Humphrey of Preston, Robin (Randy) Brookman of Zenith, Shawn (Julie) Burgey, Shari (Jim) Chansler of Stafford; and many nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; and two brothers, Gary and Dan Burgey.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Eric Taylor presiding. Burial will be in Sylvia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
